Planning your next out of town vacay can be a bit overwhelming--especially if you don’t know where to go! With so many options, it can be a bit tricky to pick “the one” destination that’s for you. But don’t worry! Here at the Airscape HQ, we encourage you to go for what destination attracts you most.

If you’re in dire need of some soul searching, then you must put Puerto Princesa , Palawan on your list! This destination is perfect if you want some relaxing time with your friends or family! Here are four reasons why you should visit this beautiful place, asap!

You’ll get to visit the Underground River

Once you visit Puerto Princesa, you must include the Underground river on your top list! Since it’s underground, you’ll get to experience riding a small boat that will lead you to a limestone cave landscape with distinct major formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Known as the 7th wonder of nature, this destination should be part of your priority visits in Puerto Princesa!

Island hopping is more fun!

Planning to go swimming? Island hopping is one of the main attractions in Puerto Princesa. At Honda Bay, you will get to experience a one of a kind adventure since you’ll be riding a boat to different islands to snorkel and swim non-stop! Plus, you’ll get to eat scrumptious meals for lunch, too! (Think of those delicious shrimps and crabs! Yum)

Clean surroundings

When I first went to Puerto Princesa, I was super amazed by how clean the place is! Apparently, the Palawan municipality is very strict when it comes to garbage disposal. In order to protect and rehabilitate the island’s natural resources, they have a "Bring your garbage as you go" that all tourists and locals have to follow. Interesting, right?

Chill and relaxed vibe

Puerto Princesa is known for it’s quiet and serene vibe. You can easily sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the beach without loud noises of music, unlike the popular party scene in Boracay. So if you’re game for some “alone” time, this peaceful destination should be part of your travel bucket list!
